Porcelain Crowns

What are Porcelain Crowns? They are commonly known as caps (a crown is placed over your existing damaged or decayed tooth, covering the entire outer surface). Being more aesthetically pleasing, they will make your teeth look whole and improve your chewing ability. A tooth crown is prepared from pure ceramic to the appropriate shape and is placed over a carefully prepared natural or dental implant. It is used in the case of tooth restoration, for teeth that has gone past the stage of protection by simple white fillings or inlays / onlays, or for extensive cosmetic changes to enhance a person’s smile.

It can be very embarrassing to face the world with your misshapen or crooked teeth. But with the availability of so many cosmetic dentistry treatments, you don’t need to hold back your sparkling smile anymore. There are many procedures available to improve your teeth that allow you to smile with confidence. For severely damaged teeth, tooth porcelain crowns are typically the best option for you.
