About Gold Coast Karate & Kobudo Centre
The Gold Coast Karate & Kobudo Centre is a fully equipped permanent location. This means we are not going anywhere, we have made this commitment to our members so they can be confident in committing to us. Our centre includes 150m2 of matted training area, mirrored wall, bags and traditional training implements such as iron geta and chishi.
Gold Coast Karate offers classes in Chito-Ryu Karate-do, and Matayoshi Kobudo, as a member of these traditional martial arts styles all our gradings are recognised internationally. The Chito-Ryu Karate classes at Gold Coast Karate are separated into Little Champions (4-7yrs), Juniors (8-12yrs), Teenagers (13-19yrs), Seniors (13yrs+), as well as Family classes (4yrs+). The separation of these groups allows specific programs to be run to cater for the different learning style and needs of all different ages.
